KOHLER, Wis. – April 2, 2018 – Kohler Co. is proud to expand into boutique fitness with Bold Cycle, opening in May 2018. Located at The Shops at Woodlake at Destination Kohler, Bold Cycle is a 3,000 square-foot indoor cycling studio with 35 top-of-the-line Stages Indoor bikes. The comfortable and cutting-edge space will be a wellness hub in the community with a social bar and common space for gatherings, boutique showering areas – outfitted with contemporary KOHLER plumbing products – and a retail boutique. The classes, choreographed to lively music, will incorporate hand weights and finish with a yogic cool-down, allowing guests of all skill levels to adjust, refresh and enjoy.
“Bold Cycle is based on community,” said Ashley Kohler, Manager Yoga on the Lake and Bold Cycle. “This studio is filling both a need for our local and resort guests by offering a hip, welcoming space to connect with others who embrace health and wellness into their everyday lives. No experience is necessary – Bold Cycle will be an approachable space for people to connect, ride together, and feel inspired about their paths toward healthy living.”
The studio will join Kohler Waters Spa, Yoga on the Lake, Sports Core and River Wildlife as part of Destination Kohler’s overall wellness portfolio. Collectively, these businesses encourage individuals to increase their overall wellbeing by proactively working toward a healthy lifestyle. Bold Cycle employs high energy instructors and is equipped with the best sound technology to promote an exhilarating cycling experience.
Bold Cycle’s social bar and common space will also be an essential part of the studio’s identity. Not only can guests come to enjoy cycling together, but the social bar will engage further, providing happy hours, teambuilding events, and corporate rides that encourage guests to further connect and embrace the sense of community the studio offers. Bold Cycle will also lead group rides for outdoor cyclists in the spring and summer. Guests may purchase high-fashion athletic apparel, custom Bold Cycle products, and professional Bold Cycle road jerseys in the boutique.
“Being a center of community is incredibly important to us,” said Kohler. “Whether it’s getting a fresh juice at the bar and meeting new friends, or joining for an evening happy hour and live DJ, our hope is that Bold Cycle serves foremost as a community gathering space. We will encourage people to connect and build meaningful relationships while working together toward implementing healthy choices into everyday life.”
There are a variety of classes at the studio with single classes starting at $21 with packages for 5, 10, and 20 classes; as well as a monthly package for $136. The monthly membership includes unlimited rides, exclusive retail discounts and no long term contract. Guests must be minimum age of 13 to participate.
The boutique showers at Bold Cycle will showcase stunning Kohler plumbing products in a state-of-the-art space, featuring a modern aesthetic with all the upscale comforts of a luxe bathroom.
